⚠️ Big change: the Safeway here is closed. It was the main reason this charger was so handy, with food, snacks and restrooms steps away. Safeway closed the store in July 2026. The building now sits empty. The property owner has said a WinCo Waremart grocery store will move in, but there's no opening date yet. We'll update this page when it opens.

  • Weather: clear, sunny and calm.

  • Busy? Very quiet. Only one or two cars were charging. Almost every stall was open.

  • Layout: one row of stalls at the edge of the lot, facing Highway 101. Red Tesla signs mark the spots. One stall is accessible parking.

  • Also seen: a trash can at the stalls, lots of open parking, and a few RVs and box trucks in the big lot.

What's nearby now

  • Ace Hardware is in the same center, with a fishing, hunting and RV/marine section.

  • Rite Aid is closed. Its sign is still up, but the store closed in 2025.

  • The center sign also lists Liggett's Flooring, Coastal Home Co., Shipping Solutions, Sally Beauty, Belle Spa & Nails, Perfect Look, T-Mobile and ABC Educational Center. We saw these names on the sign but haven't checked if each one is open.

  • A Fred Meyer sign is visible down the highway. We haven't checked the walking route.

  • Restrooms: with Safeway gone, there's no obvious public restroom right at the charger. Plan your stop.

  • Renting our Tesla Model 3? Just pull in and plug in.

  • Renting the Ioniq 5, EV6 or Bolt? You can charge here with an automaker-approved NACS adapter and the Tesla app (or your car's app). See our guide for the steps.

  • Renting the MINI? The MINI Cooper SE can't use Supercharger adapters. Use a CCS fast charger instead.

  • Check the Tesla app for live stall availability and current pricing.
