• Weather: sunny, clear blue sky, fall colors on the trees.

• Busy? Every stall was open when we stopped by.

• Layout: two chargers (#1 and #2) along the side wall of the ampm store, each with two CCS cables. Marked EV-only parking.

• Look for: the white-and-blue bp pulse units with a "Welcome to EV charging" banner next to the store doors.

What's nearby

• ampm is steps from the chargers for snacks, coffee and drinks. Restrooms inside.

• Walmart Supercenter is right across Commercial St for groceries or anything you forgot.

• John's Car Wash is right next door. Charge up and wash off the road trip.

• Pizza Now! is next door too. Grab a slice while the battery fills up. Closed Mondays.

• More food and shopping all along Commercial St SE.
